Driving Towards Zero Safety Campaign
We’ve all done it. Ran red lights. Drove too fast. Crashed into cars. Crashed into other objects. It happens. But it’s all preventable. By keeping your speeds down and staying alert to other drivers and your surroundings, you can do your part to “Drive Towards Zero”
At C.L. Kiesman Transportation, we’ve always been pretty relaxed. We know it’s a game. But we also take things pretty seriously when it comes to realism. That’s why I’ve created this campaign. All drivers, both company and owner operators are eligible to participate. Participation is mandatory. Starting today, August 5th 2025, any incidents will be documented. At the end of the month, everyone will be given a review with a percentage based safety score. You won’t be fired for a high score, but the driver with the lowest score will win a “Driving Towards Zero” T shirt, as well as be given an award and a company achievement on Trucky.
The rules are pretty simple:
Don’t crash
Don’t speed
Don’t damage equipment
Don’t damage cargo
Your safety score will be based on how many miles you drive in relation the the incidents you have. As was stated before, everyone is eligible to participate in this campaign.
After the campaign concludes, we will have to start taking disciplinary actions against unsafe drivers. When under a CLKT load or using your CLKT game profile, it’s important to play as realistically as possible. If you’re not tracking a job, your incidents don’t count.
